^^^ Good turnout for MIA.

Hoodie, do you think Eddelman was snubbed?  I've seen some Pats fans upset.

(Personally, I don't think he should be there).

^^^

He is an outstanding wide receiver and having a great season and I voted for him, but I can understand why others might not consider him one of the 8 best in the entire league, so I am not shocked.  Unless you are blowing away NFL records (and he ain't) you need at least two probowl quality seasons to make the probowl.   I am actually more surprised/disappointed that Gostowski (place kicker) didn't make it.

Also while technically the probowl is suppose to be about what you did this season and this season only, in fact it also takes into account what you have done in past seasons and reputation.  For example Tom Brady is a probowl quality & future HOF QB, but he isn't quite having a probowl season this year.  Although his inclusion isn't nearly as out of whack as when Brett Farve went as the Jets QB.

As my former coach an your former VP (and former coach of the Jets, Cowboys and Giants) once said something to the effect of, "players go three years after they should and stay three years longer than they should"

^^^ plus it doesn't matter.  The Patriots players will not be going to Hawaii but instead will be preparing for a game in New Jersey.

^^^ Ditto for the eight players from San Francisco who made the squad. Lots of replacement players will be required. Wink

Are they planning a scrimmage against the boys in blue or green?

Carolina players pack a bag when they go over to Cam's place for an offseason game of Madden? Seems like overkill to me...

Who has lots of thumbs, but no appearances in the last two NFC Championship games?

Wait...Panthers don't have thumbs, they have paws.  How in God's name are they going to play Madden with no thumbs while my 49ers are winning the Super Bowl?

Enjoy the Pro Bowl though...Honolulu is nice that time of year.
