While Pouncey is far from the problem, just even one member from our Offensive Line going to the Pro Bowl seems ridiculous.

I wouldn't get too bothered by this. I've been told by someone here that even a "slightly above marginal" player may make the pro bowl. -EK

Pouncey is an elite center who does everything very well. He is pro bowl caliber. And he is going as the "back-up". I got no problem with him going. His play speaks for itself.

Last year he deserved it but didn't get it.  This year, he didn't deserve it but got it.

Yeah, I am not bothered by it because he is a good player, just that I think it's crazy that the history books will show that a member of the 2013 Miami Dolphins O-Line made the Pro Bowl. Without 142 people declining the invite first.

Jason Taylor went to the Pro Bowl when Miami was 1-15.  KC sent six players last year, and they were 2-14.  Why should an individual player be punished for poor team performance?  Are you saying that Pouncey was individually bad this year?

On a side note, Brandon Albert made the Pro Bowl.  What could have been...

At least the Dolphins can pick him up next year and not have to part with a high draft pick

I had a dream the other night - Dolphins in the playoffs, offense on the field, Pouncey & Clay voted to the Pro-Bowl. Don't know the result of the game, or who it was against...

Not sure if this is a good or bad omen. Good dream though. Grin

Partly right with my dream a couple of weeks ago...

...now the playoffs bit...  Wink

No, I was clear with what I said. I just think it's funny that the records will show that a member of our O-Line made the Pro Bowl. This is the worst O-Line in our franchise's history after all.
