What's the deal?

« on: September 28, 2014, 09:11:04 pm »

This win may feel good but it was the Raiders, a team most others beat quite handily.  This is showing me that this Dolphins team is pretty much the same from last year.

Someone said in another topic that Miami was not a laughingstock.  They were boring and irrelevant.  That person hit it right on the head.  Miami is definitely not a laughingstock.

Miami is in what I like to refer to as "no man's land".  For the past five years they've had a record that wasn't good enough to make the playoffs but wasn't bad enough to get a top five draft pick.

What do you guys think?

New England didn't beat them quite handlily. They needed a late interception to win the game and this was after oakland scored a game tying touchdown that was called back because of a penalty.

Miami drafted a top-5 pick...he's currently serving a drug suspension.

I thought this thread was started by Denver Bronco when I saw it on the outside (before you click in to enter the forums)

Anyway, there were lots of positives to take from the game, but yes, remember it was against the Raiders.

Reality check is right. I do hope with this win it will establish some confidence.  Because any given sunday the crappiest team can blow anybody out. Raiders gave the Pats a run last week even though Miami stomped the raiders.  I dont know what to take from this game because I was not happy at all the the Fins almost put up 40 pts.  What do we say, the 'FINS were on a roll or is Oakland that BADD Huh Huh

The NFL season looks to be a roller coaster this year.

Pitt looks amazing last week , then blows up at home against Tampa.

Atlanta puts up 56pts last week, then loses to Minny.

Not many consistent teams so far, but quite a few dreadful ones:  Tennessee, Oakland, Jacksonville and quite a few more with horrible defenses: skins, saints, falcons, bears, packers....

The team from last year would have eeked out a close win against this Raiders team.

Pittsburgh looked like a turd the week before against Baltimore. I think the game against Carolina was the anomaly.
