THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: December 14, 2014, 04:14:19 pm »

I'll give it to whoever was responsible for the blocked field goal on the first drive.

Anybody who says Philbin, I would like to hear justification.

I cannot blame him for

1) A blocked field goal returned for a touchdown
2) A int that set up another touchdown
3) Another int off a fluke tip.

Tannehill didn't get much help from his receivers with that dropped TD pass in the first half.

Gibson's penalty came when they game was out of reach

Philbin - No balls.

Great idea to start the game with a deep pass - then run, run(basically), run, fg which is blocked.  He is the head coach ultimately responsible for the gameplan of his offensive and defensive coordinators.  His gameplan was awful.  Then they got outscored 29-0 the second half?  He needs to be fired ASAP

Without putting much thought the Fail goes  to  Philbin. Then again the whole team can get the shame. No heart  like in week 1. The intensity of the team was not the same. Oh well

The offensive line was horrible again, but injuries make it had to put on the line coach. Still, seeing the Patriots rush three and EVERYONE getting a hand on Tannehill with the Dolphins keeping in five, that was bad.

The receivers had another week of the dropsies, including the dropped touchdown and the long bomb that was lost in the sun.

The pass rush had another week of not getting much pressure on the quarterback.

Hard week to pin anything on a single players, so I'll go Williams.

Philbin.  Hands down.  I'm disappointed.

BTW - Tannehills' first pick was an awful throw.  The second should have been pass interference.

Brandon Gibson should be cut today.  Not only does he only marginally contribute but he can't keep his head straight.  Don't need players like that.  Bye.  And take Rishard "Stone-hands" Matthews with you.

Philbin gets SOTG again.  He deserves it.  No aggression on offense or defense.  Nothing.  Just no life in this team whatsoever.

Philbin.

Justification: Attitude reflects leadership.

This team has no fire, just like Philbin.

This one is very difficult to pinpoint one particular player as having done the thing that cost us the game. It was just bad all the way around. I guess I have to say Philbin as well by default.
