Lots of news out today that Peyton played with a torn right Quad the last month of the season and yesterday. Reason for his poor play.

Another story out that he played with 2 torn quads for a month and yesterday.

A third story out he played with one strained quad and one quad with a deep bruise the last month of the season and yesterday.

No idea what is true or if Peyton's people are out trying to spin his poor play with an injury angle. He will be 39 in March. I would be a little surprised if he came back next year but who knows.

Since the Miami game he hasn't been throwing like usually.  Seemed like they were trying to develop more of a running game.

He was hurt vs SD. Left the game before the half and had to go to the locker-room

He's played his entire career with a hyperextended forehead...

The problem with being 39 is that it takes a lot longer to come back from injury, so with the hits ANY quarterback takes in the NFL, having Manning as your starting quarterback means living with the overwhelming probability that he is going to be injury limited at least some of the season. Expecting a completely healthy and well-rested Manning 16 games + post season is ridiculous.
