SUNDAY TICKET for all. Directv letting you buy it to stream even if you don't have a dish.

Not if you are eligible for direct TV. that article is misleading.  I just looked and it's not available to me because I can get the satellite subscription.

makes sense - how many customers do you think they have with their dish subscription ONLY for Sunday ticket?  If they make it available to everyone, they stand to lose a chunk of their typical subscriber base who can switch to cable (or go full streaming) and just pay for this package.

I misunderstood. ...they made it seem like it was available to everyone

They announced this before the season last year and we all discussed it then. The only change from last year that I know of, more locations are available.

Count me out.  The Dolphins always seem to lose when I watch them live

That's all I can see too. As I mentioned ... the article seems to be misleading.

Work around if you really want this....

So if you live in an apt building that doesn't let you put up a dish you can subscribe.  You will get a username and password that will let you watch it on one device.

So if you live in a house (thus not eligible) but have a friend who lives in an apt who isn't a football fan (or otherwise doesn't want this) have them sign up for you.

I would run a test on this before I spent any money doing it. A streaming device should be able to determine if you are connected to a network at the address assigned to your subscription. An example, our local cable provider has wireless streaming available around your house. If you go somewhere else and are connected to another network it knows and severely limits what is available.

I know Netflix has never really cared about the password thing before but this is the NFL we are talking about and I hear Netflix was going to prepare a crackdown as well.

^^ DirectTV is not an internet provider so they can't necessarily lock you down to their own internet service like the cable provider can.  Besides, with many LTE devices in the field, there's no way they can lock you out of streaming over LTE, which works anywhere you have cellular coverage.
