A journeyman utility guy in left, a headcase oft-injured guy who doesn't like to bend at the knees at 1st; a 95 million dollar 3B riding the pine and the highest paid AAA team in the history of sports (I think, at last count, the Paw Sox's payroll was higher than 6 of MLB's teams...I'm not kidding).

History starts today in Cleveland!  Go Sox!

That's impossible...Boston plays three games in SD this year, so the best the Sox can possibly do is 159-3.  Grin

Cheesy I think the Red Sox will be better than expected.....

I'd wish the media would get off the proclamation that the Cubs are going to the world series.

The Nationals, have to be close to as good in real life than on paper soon right? The Giants in in even year, the Dodgers, and the OMG Diamondbacks going for it. Cheesy Losing Pollack hurts though.

The NL central is gonna be dogfight, again this year.I just want to be good enough to make the playoffs, and in the NL, we have a better shot.

Go Cubs!  Smiley

Boston is making super sound decisions, based on baseball needs.  They are in Toronto this weekend, battling a team widely considered one of the teams favored for the division (if not the AL).  Being the wicked smaht folks they are, Boston has pushed David Price's start back a day so he can start the Sox's home opener at Fenway.

You know, so the home crowd can "have a treat."

This is what winning baseball is all about, folks.  This is how it's done.  Pay attention.

BTW, I can't believe I'm talking about David Price / the Red Sox and a "home start."  That's all a little surreal.

If Boston management decided to beat Sandoval with bats and force his retirement, I wouldn't blame them.

As long as it's not the same guys who signed him in the first place.
