I just learned that Benny Malone died a few days ago. Many old timers will remember him. For those of you who don't, his was nicknamed "Funny Running Benny Malone" on a documentary on the Sea of Hands game. He ran with his leg spread wide while kicking really high with lower part of his legs rather than the upper part. It was the oddest style I've ever seen, but he was a good player.
I would like to extend my condolences to his family and let them know that I remember him fondly.
