He blitzed more times in a game than any DB since before Next Gen Stats started recording that stat (2016). Number 2 on that list... his partner in crime, Brandon Jones. (Same game, btw)

Yes, I saw that stat the other day.  Says a lot about how aggressive of a defensive game plan that Boyer put together for that game.  Hopefully they won't go too often to the same well with that one though as teams can definitely draw up offensive plans to counter a heavy DB Blitz scheme.   You mentioned Brandon Jones.  He is quietly taking a significant step forward in his game this year and improving.

Wasn't sure he'd break out this soon, but...

#36  -  S Jevon Holland - My favorite Dolphins draft pick comes in round two. Within his first 2-3 seasons, Jevon will make it to a Pro Bowl and have proven himself as the best free safety in this class, bar none. I really hoped that my 49ers would draft him, but Miami beat them to the punch. At least I still get to cheer for him, even if he is wearing the wrong colors. Wink  A+

Jevon Holland will be a great safety.

Joe Toledo -  Huh

As for Holland, I am a Pac12 guy, and had been totally sold on Holland his last two seasons at Oregon. It just seemed like every time I'd see him on screen, he was doing something that made me think "Damn, that kid's pretty awesome.

Not to feed your ego which is almost as gigantic as mine  Grin   But I think you were a big Creed Humphrey fan coming into the draft and he is apparently doing really well in his rookie season.  Starter since the first game and through the first 9 games he allowed only 1 sack and 5 pressures and he has also opened up some significant run lane gaps.  You definitely got me on that one as I didn't have him rated all that high coming out of college.  Thought he was too raw and lacked the ability to pick up the complicated NFL schemes.

Yeah, Creed has been lights out since day one...

The top center in the 2022 class might just be even better than Creed... Tyler Linderbaum from Iowa. He is going to go too high for Miami though...he won't make it out of the top-10

A center going top 10, you don't see that every year.
