Lester Cotton is emerging to be the starting left guard for the Dolphins

It looks like Lester Cotton is beating out Liam Eichenberg and Isaiah Wynn for the starting left guard spot. This is coming off his start against the Bills in the playoffs where he played every down. We literally signed him for the last two weeks of last season. Kind of nice to see a practice squad player rising to the occasion so I'm hoping he can handle the assignment.

I thought Cotton was splitting time at right guard with Robert Jones in the Falcons game. Didn't notice him slide over to right, although I'll admit I wasn't watching that closely. I did notice Eich starting and Wynn getting time as well at right guard. We allowed a lot of inside pressure, so it's safe to say no one hit it out of the park.

I'm still surprised we completely ignored our LG and RT positions considering that this is a Superbowl worthy team. The organization the past few seasons has swung for the fences in acquriing talent and that's great, but your left handed QB has a horrific RT who can't stay on the field covering his blind spot. How did they overlook this?

Austin Jackson has arrived in great shape and seems to have the RT slot locked up. He’s looked like a new man so far.
