Seconded. They've played poorly all year with last week kinda being an exception because teams tend to abandon their offensive game plans when down by 50, but this is rock bottom. They gotta get their shit together or plan to average 49 points a game.

I gotta go Fangio.

We weren't really able to stop them at all.  Offense made some mistakes, but if you give up over 50 points on defense, you can't win in the NFL.

Add me to the Fangio dogpile.
At no point did the defense even look serviceable today.  It was clear from jump that the offense would need to score every possession to even have a chance.

I'll go with Fangio as well

A very good defense shut down a very good offense.  A very bad defense allowed a very good offense to run all over the place

Fangio gets it this week. How many big plays and touchdowns by Diggs on Kohou have to happen for him to make the move or give him extra support? That's just hanging the kid out there. We still seem to be unable to make tackles stick in the open field - again that falls on coaching if it is not addressed.

Dishonorable mentions to Mostert (those two fumbles were killers) and Eichenberg. I just hope the injuries to Armstead and Williams aren't too serious and they're back soon with Hunt, Wynn and Jackson on the OL - one of the biggest momentum changers of this game was when Armstead went off the field.

Fangio.

Defense was all-around poor today.

HM - Offensive line, played poor today.

Fangio for the season so far. Who on defense is having a great year except AVG? So far this defensive scheme hasn't done much for us.

I thought I would be a cold take by nominating Fangio, but the fact that they left Kader Kohou on Diggs all day after he was getting abused non stop with no adjustment - that's on the coaching.  I like Kohou but Diggs is out of his league.  We have one of the highest paid corners in the league and we didn't even see or hear from him all day.

Granted I realize that it means he was doing his job on Gabe Davis, but IMO Davis is way less likely to abuse you than Diggs.  I'd have liked to see them switch that up, and I wonder why they didn't.

By the way, when can we get rid of Liam Eichenberg?

I think they like him because he's versatile and "can play" every position on the line, but he is terrible at all of them.

So you keep him as a backup and pay him backup money going forward.

he's a backup now, but he's playing Center, and he personally contributed to several pressures and 2 sacks yesterday.  Get him off the team now.
