Leave Williams alone. No harm in keeping him, and no one is going to trade decently for him for the same reasons 90% of you give.  He left, who cares. He's back. If he leaves, who cares.  We have Brown.  Miami needs to address the QB position soon!

I'm with my man Thundergod here.  Williams as a Dolphin is a good thing so long as the team has another option in the event he flakes out again.  Unless some team stupidly dangles a franchise quarterback, or maybe a left tackle (WHO would do that??), I say keep the dude.

the one i've been hearing the most of is sticky Ricky & our 1st rounder to Texans for their pick...so we can get our QB...

As cool as it would be to get Leinart or VY, there is zero chance of this trade occuring. If the Texans come away from this year's draft and don't have either Reggie Bush or Vince Young in tow...one or the other...I swear that the fans in Houston would burn the stadium down. The Texans understand this, because that organization is as fan-centric as any in the NFL. If they don't have a deal in place to trade Carr by draft day, then Reggie Bush will be picked #1. If Houston finds a tasty enough deal out there for Carr, then I think they take VY and be just as happy to move forward with Vince under center and Dom Davis/Wells/Morency at RB as they would with Carr-Bush.

One more thing to consider on Houston's situation... This is a team whose QB and RBs "reeeeeally" aren't its biggest problem...not by a long stretch. The Texans biggest problem is having the single worst O-line in the NFL. Put Carr behind a good O-line and you see him getting sacked less and sticking his throws more, mainly due to the increased confidence one has when you know you aren't about to get clobbered. Put Dom Davis behind a OG/OT duo who move the line forward so Dom doesn't have to make his first two evasive moves behind the line of scrimmage on every play and Dom becomes a much more productive player.  What Houston really needs this year, in what's shaping up to be one of the deepest drafts in a lonnnng time for quality O-line beef, is a surplus of draft picks and someone who walks-talks-thinks like Miami's own Hudson Houck. They need an O-line Rainman and a bunch of bricks to build with. If they do this, that franchise could go from cellar to stellar in a hurry.

I agree..however I think we only do this if we find the right one. I don't draft a guy that we don't think is going to be our starter for 5-8 years..  Here is my dilemma.  I think there are three QBs in this draft that are 'definites'..or close to it. Leinart, Young, and Cutler. I believe all 3 will be gone by 16. Cutler will be picked up either at 9 to Detroit, 10 to Arizona or to Baltimore at 13.  Then what?

Do we draft early Brodie Croyle at 16? A definite reach..or shall we wait a round and hope Croyle or Omar Jacobs is available?  

Easy to say 'draft a qb'..harder to do effectively.

I hope we don't screw this up.

Yeah, that was it.  It had nothing to do with 6 other HOFers as well as several All-Pro caliber players.

Those RBs were complimentary runners, not virtual twins.

I am not sold that your backup has to be a different style runner than your starter. I am also against bringing in the specialist "3rd down" back. The reason being, it's too predictable. If you run one set of plays with a back and a completely different set with the other, you cut off half your playbook and telegraph what you are doing.
