They ended up blitzing a few times very late in the last quarter (after I posted they got 6 sacks with no blitzes all game). By that stage it was already won, and they had a lot of reserves in.

When the game counted though, no blitzes.

I think you are mistaken as I heard several people say this yesterday along with seeing it in articles. I'm pretty sure they didn't ever blitz.

The Eagles did not blitz once across 42 dropbacks in Super Bowl LIX, just the 4th defense to not blitz in a game in the NGS era.

Relying on their front four, the Eagles generated 16 pressures and sacked Mahomes six times, his most in a game in his career.

That's interesting.

When I posted in the live thread about six sacks no blitzes, I was quoting the live feed off Fox, and I hadn't seen any blitzes at that stage, all of the rushes up to then were four linemen.

But right after I posted that, and especially around that Mahomes long bomb to Worthy, I noticed a couple of five player rushes with an extra from the mid LB position (and then thought damn, I went early and now there's a few blitz plays)

Make no mistake, when it counted there were no blitz calls, but if you go back and look at the last part of the game late in the fourth quarter... I reckon you may find a couple.
