I want to move there in about 2 years. YCCC should end by then and i want to know where is a good place to live. I want to live somewhere near miami but somewhere where the price isn't too high. Anything less then what miami is would be best since i know living in miami must cost a fortune. Any advice

Merritt Island. Its just across the river from Cocoa Beach, 45 minutes from Orlando, not too expensive, and 3 hours from Miami.

You can get to Miami from Broward and Palm Beach counties and it doesn't take too much time.

I'd suggest Margate, Deerfield, Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.

I've lived in Boca Raton and Delray Beach. I'd recommend either. Boynton beach is a bit cheaper to live in.

west coast, west coast, west coast.

Cheap property, nice beaches, and only 1 hour from the cities.  If I could, I'd move to the west side in a second.  Its a whole different lifestyle over there.

I agree.  Naples and Ft Myers are beautiful towns.  The day after the Dolphins-Bucs game in Tampa, I headed down to Naples to catch a few rays and relax in general.  Here's a picture I took of the sun going down on the beach.

Yeah, the entire west coast - Ft. Myers, Naples, Port Charlotte, and Sarasota - the lifestyle is VERY relaxed.  There is not a lot to do over there, and you have to put up with Tampa radio stations.

On the East Coast, it's a LOT more active - Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm - Professional Sports teams, South Beach, clubs, etc.

HOWEVER, North of Palm Beach, starting pretty much at Jupiter all the way up to St. Augustine, it turns into a similar version of the west coast.

The Tampa suburbs and the Orlando suburbs are nice.  I actually really like BOTH Orlando and Tampa areas.  I do NOT like Jacksonville.  Orlando and Tampa have access to an insane amount of attractions, casinos, strip clubs, and stuff like that.

West Coast - Slow pace, older people, cheaper

East Coast - Congested, expensive (good luck finding any place half decent under 300K), lots to do.

Hmmmmmmm. There may be reason you don't live on the West Coast, like millions of other people. There are no jobs!

Poor bastard would move down here and wouldn't find work for months. Move over there when you retire.
