I was reading about upcoming Xbox 360 games and I found out GTA4 will be released October 16th only for Xbox 360!! Sweet! And a month later Halo 3 comes out, I'm all over the 360.

I'm not sure but I remeber hearing that rockstar was not happy w/ it's contract w/ Sony so they broke it and didn't renegotiate it for the next gen systems. But maybe they did and went w/ Xbox. And no word on Splinter Cell 4 as of yet Mr. Fein.

But there is this new game coming out called Gears of War, that seems to be like a much more violent version of Halo. And it sounds sweet. Check out the narrative of the game starting at 11:41.

I heard about Gears of War.  I'm skeptical until I get a chance to test drive it.  The potential is there...

I'm seeing that GTA4 WILL be relased for PS3, but they've lost their time exclusivitiy.  It'll come out for XBOX and PS3 simultaneously.

Ah, curious. I guess they figured they would lose money if they only released it for 1 system. And after the great sales of the GTA double pack on Xbox, they realized the error of their ways.

Well, the thing is, the hardware maker will pay for exclusivity. So it's just a question of whether the exclusivity bonus is more than you'd earn on sales for the other system.
