Put him on this team. Somehow, some way, just get him in Miami, if it's within reason.

What do you consider to be in reason?

I mean I'd like to have Larry Fitzgerald....But I just don't see our offense as...Explosive...We're going to be a very Run oreintted offense.

Don't give up the no.1 pick for him, but an early pick, or maybe a guy, or two. This team needs a quality, proven receiver

I guess that's what I'm trying to figure out...That's alot of money spent on the Wr Postition...With Ginn then bringing in Fitzgerald..On a team that is going to be a very run orientated...I think he'd be miserable here..

But with Fitzgerald, the Phins wouldn't have to be so run oriented. It could open some things up.

ESPN was saying that the Cards may be looking to shop him around.

It's not that our personnel isn't going to let us throw...Our Offensive coordinator is a Run,Run,Pick up the third down....

I know this is a fantasy football article, but it blatantly says what I lot of articles tip toe around....

Henning's play-calling has often been called conservative, unimaginative at times and occasionally puzzling. However, armchair play-callers often hang themselves up on a few unsuccessful plays. They claim he runs when he should pass and passes when he should run. Hindsight is 20/20, after all.

While criticisms of Henning's play-calling and conservative nature may or may not be well-founded, one thing that is definitive at the moment is Miami lacks the personnel on offense to be anything but conservative. The Dolphins' run blocking was far superior to its pass protection in 2007, and the team lacks a set, reliable quarterback. The team does figure to be quite deep in the backfield with running backs Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams and Lorenzo Booker all under contract. As a result, a commitment to the running game is not just what can be expected, it looks to be the smart thing to do.

Yeah He had Mushin Muhammad and Steve Smith, which already looks alot like ...Ted Ginn, and Earnest Wilford....(probably not as good)

I just have a hard time seeing Henning screaming about getting Fitzgerald, and Parcells Seeing Fitzgerald too $$$ in his contact, and the cost to pry him away from the Cardinals.

It's frustrating I can't find the 2 articles that Were Very clear about our offense this year....you might as well forget about 3 wr's sets,ETc,Etc...

I actually thought the same thing. JJ and Wanny all over again in terms of offensive scheme. Can we get some chocolate around here already,  vanilla is getting so old.

I was surprised when Henning was picked. I said to myself, another retread but it's better than going after a Kevin Gilbride.

Gilbride was the OC of the Super Bowl winning Giants.

I don't buy that for a second.  Him and Anquan Boldin make a dangerous receiving duo.

But the contract that Dennis Green gave him puts the team in salary cap trouble for a few years. Fitzgerald is scheduled to make something like $13 million this year, $14 million next year, and $15 million the year after that.

Seeing as no team is going to take on that kind of money, he will probably end up released as a "cap casualty".  Then the Dolphins should snap him right up.  He's young and proven.

He only has two years left on his deal.  15 million this year & 17+ next.
