Don't count out the stink. Fear the stink. What's that smell? It's the stink.

***** IMPORTANT LEAGUE SETTINGS NOTICE *****

Since we only ended up with 8 teams instead of 10, I added four more active roster slots.

Instead of 3 OF slots, there is now 4
I added a 1B/3B slot
I added a 2B/SS slot
Instead of 3 P slots, there are now 4

So roster slots are now:

C
1B
2B
3B
SS
1B/3B
2B/SS
OF
OF
OF
OF
Util
Util

SP
SP
RP
RP
P
P
P
P

If anyone has last minute thoughts on these, or objections, definitely air them out here. I can make changes up until one hour before draft time without messing with the draft time.

That's to keep people like myself from streaming SPs like a banshee... I was one of the only people who was abusing the rule, so I figured I'd be the only person affected by it. Since I like to swap out at least 1-2 bench players per week (always searching for FA talent), I probably won't stream pitchers at all this year.

What do you people think about a max. number of moves for the entire season? My other league max. is 60.

I was too busy streaming myself to pay attention at that point... Wink

I'm not a big fan of season trasactional limits, though a weekly limit gives ya almost the same thing. I agree with Lil_B though...if you go through a major rash of injuries, you could burn through a big chunk of that transaction limit trying to find healthy replacements. I like knowing that, if I need them, I can make some more waiver moves next week.

See you guys at the draft tonight!!

LOL oh no you wern't. I was in the running to unseat you for the most transactions last season beacuse I too was abusing this lovely little loophole. In fact I think this is the main reason you beat me for the crown a few seasons back which is why I decided to start using this feature myself. As much as I enjoyed using it I think it is a fair move for the integrity of the league!!!!! Smiley

^^^ True, I do remember you getting a little caught up in the streaming wars. Grin

One hour to the draft...and the first step in reclaiming my rightful TDMMC baseball crown. Bring it on!!

I've looked at my squad a half dozen times or so since the draft, and still not sure how I stockpiled that much talent on one roster. I'm looking forward to locking up one of the first round playoff byes around the middle of July. Wink

Fausto gets to be our first victim...just to let the "won't be defending" champ understand the way things are going to be this season.
