just found this site, gald I did and here is my first post, I have already seen some Beck bashing, so I dive right in and defend the man.

I thought we should look back to why Beck was drafted....I think he should get another chance.

Ron Jaworski is an unqualifed bufoon.  I do not see his name penciled in the Hall of Fame. He was a failure as an Eagles QB and is a failure as an ESPN tool.

I would agree that Jaws is useless to listen to.  Beside that, welcome to the forum and I think TDMMC is a pretty nice site with good solid dialog at times and pure entertainment value at others.

I like Beck for the most part, but everyone just needs to understand that when you perform the way he did and your team has the #1 overall pick the bashing is going to happen.  Other than a small glimmer at the end of an already lost Bangels game, Beck really looked pretty bad.  There is a lot of time this off season to sit and reflect on what we saw last season and most of it was bad.  I am shocked that fans are as optomistic as they are and we all know that Parcells is the only reason for that.

I have my reasons, but I say don't use the #1 for a QB.  I am one of the few on TDMMC that thinks Jake Long would be the wise choice.  At some point I will give my reasons as to why, but I really don't want to highjack the thread.

The truth is that FINHEAVEN is to strict and they banned me until April 1, 2008.

But I intend to post one more goodbye thread and leave for good.  I have premiered my JOHN BECK IS A LOSER Youtube video on TDMMC.

This site is much more relaxed and the guys here seem to know scarcastic entertainment when they see. Plus they have an anti-fins chat where I can post all my rants and not get banned or in trouble.

I know that I will bring lots of new members to the boards here.

Hooah, ArmyFinFan.  Welcome to the board.  I'm with the DoD and there are some great military vets here on the board.  Good folks here on the board with some very insightful posts.  Of course there is the usual arguing and general dumbasses from time to time, but if you look past that stuff, there are some quality people here with thought provoking things to say about our favorite team.  Again, welcome!

What do you mean give Beck another chance ? Do you think he should be given the starting job, or win it ? I am not for dumping Beck as he is young, but in my opinion will never be a solid starter in the NFL. I believe Beck would make a great back up in Miami.

Lots of ex-military up here...looks like a VFW chatroom sometimes. I'm ex-army myself as well.

I'm not a Beck supporter...and I take a healthy dose of grief about it from time to time, but I am not a "hope they fail because I predicted they'd fail" type of person. I'm all for "whatever" will help the Dolphins put a more competitive team on the football field. If that means Beck, then I'll gladly say "I was wrong and am happy I was wrong."

When I watch Beck on the field though, I just don't think I'm wrong, and if I'm right about not being wrong<g>, it means that we'll still need to address the most important position on the field at some point in the very near future.

Welcome aboard from a birdfarmer and don't pay any mind to SS, he of the trade for Quinn after 21 teams (including the team that finally took him TG), John is going to be great. As for Matty popsicle he will may take the same trip as BQ; it sure wouldn't surprise me.
