If he had no plan to wear this in his golf tournament why not just keep it at home ?

It was a charity event. I am sure there were other portions of the day where he did plan to wear the ring, but you can't really do it while on the course.

Since there was a charity event I imagine it was at a decent golf course, why didn't ask them to keep it in a safe or something, I am assuming it would have been smarter then putting it in your glove compartment.

Well, to be fair, it's a pretty f'n big ring, not something I would find comfortable in my pocket. (No, I'm not saying the glove compartment was a smart move).

I am SURE he had a cell phone on or in his pocket. If you can hold on to a cell phone you can hold on to a priceless ring. Basically If I couldn't keep it on my person I wouldn't leave home without it.

^^^ While setting up a long Par putt,he had a flashback of Mike Bass returning Garo Yepremian's muffed pass attempt in the superbowl VII,and started Jumping up and down,a Trying to tackle everyone around him...yelling" Someone Tackle Mike Bass!" It happened to fly out of his pocket during the Scrum....

I don't know what your cell phone looks like, but mine's a lot smoother (and probably thinner) than a SB ring.

You mean yours is smaller than this?
