They had a lot more picks to work with I guess. Remember, they picked up 2 3rd rounders (plus the first) from Minnesota this week. The fins have a lot of picks, put compernsatory picks can't be traded.

Hmm, I didn't know that.

So far I'm really impressed with the Chiefs' draft.  At this point if things continue to work well for them they will be a very conspicuous force in the near future.

BTW these commercials ARE AWFUL!!! I HATE the underarmor one...

What channel are you watching? I have NFL Network, and the commercials are minimal.

Baltimore just traded with Houston to get the #18 pick.... probably gave up some of the booty they got from Jax.

Meet the newest Raven.... QB Joe Flacco.

Is it just me or is there an insane amount of trading going on? And the run on tackles... wow.

How many offensive linemen have been drafted in the first round so far?  Seems like its been mostly o-line or d-line.

there's been 4 O-lineman in the first round...I mentioned in the fins radio chat room...
It's a good thing we took Jake,I feel we could have missed out on all the top tackles..if we didn't....
Cherilus,Williams,Otah, and Long all gone in the first round....

modified to add,I'm a little surprised to see Rashadd medenhall? hasn't been picked yet....

Anyone got the record books.  What is the record for the most number of trades in the first round?  And what is the record for the most OT's drafted in the first round?

49ers grab the best DT available, Kentwan Balmer from North Carolina.

Very happy with this pick...we needed to get Bryant Young's replacement in there.

We still need another OT...really hoping that Collins or Nicks are our next pick.
