Damn, Nickleback is taking a ton of shit on the boards these days.

They are like the "go-to" band for hating....sorta like the Vanilla Ice of this decade.

they are!  they're AWFUL!!  every song sounds the same.  they're so bad that when they opened for bon jovi at giants stadium, everyone tailgated until we heard they were finished playing.  THEN everyone starting filing in!

It's not so much an annoying commerical like the ones outlined here, but it's so poorly written it comes off as annoying.

The spot is for Subaru.  It starts with showing people getting ready for the night life, people dancing, a dj spinning in a club.  The voice over is something like:

"You dream about nights like this.  The fun.  The energy."

And then it completely shifts into talking about a car without any seque on why the car has anything to do with the "fun" and "energy" of "a night like this." It shows the car driving, opening a moon roof, no one more word about the first 12 seconds of the commerical.

It's really amazingly horrible.  Makes me wonder if Nickleback wrote the spot, it doesn't make sense.

The commercials along this line that aggravate the blue bejabbers out of me are the Gillette commercials that basically tell you that if you shave with their lousy blades, you'll get the girl, the promotion, the sports car, etc... Target market for these commercials are the human lemming demographic.

The Progressive commercials are annoying.  Everytime I see that annoying clerk, I feel like back-handing her just so she would shut up.  The Sobe commercial where the lizards are dancing to "Thriller" is also really stupid.

I like the free credit commercials, yes the diddy does get stuck in your head.I think it's very well written when you look at the commercials as a whole...

The other commercial that I love....the Amp energy drink, with the fat tow truck driver that puts the jumper cables on his nipples and starts dancing to "jump" the lady's cars....After one attempt,he drinks amp,and dances again..Starting the car....

I can't stop laughing when I watch this commercial, they played it a lot during the hockey playoffs on Versus....

I don't know that these are annoying, but Skittles commercials are definitely weird.

Am I the only person who has no idea what the "head on" commercial is? I thought I watch a lot of TV, but obviously not.

No, you're not.  I only know of the free credit commercials.  I only watch like an hour to 2 hours of t.v. though at the end of the night when I'm going to bed.  And even then its DVR stuff.

Watch the Head On commercial, Philly.  Then understand that it's played at the maximum volume possible.  It's very obnoxious.  It's also probably geographical.  It was on all the time in S. Florida, and was pretty much unavoidable.

Wow. I must admit, I don't think I've ever seen that. It looks like a commercial thats played on low end cable channels at 1 AM.

The creditreport.com commercials...funny the first time until it's stuck in your head for a fucking week.
F-R-E-E that spells free credit report.com baby.
My kid is so sick of me singing that song...

The baby talking into his webcam about buying stock is pretty good.

Yeah, for the longest time I thought these were a joke. I mean seriously, this was the first commercial I had ever seen where I actually questioned whether I was supposed to feel inclined to buy the product afterward. They mocked this commercial on one late-nite show once, either Conan or SNL or something. I can't remember, but it was hilarious.
