You just know that you don't have to worry about facing these Marlins in interleague play this season. What you've got now is called "the bravery of being out of range." Wink

Just make sure your Sox make it to the World Series, because if Florida has to settle for the Angels or the Rays<g>, I am going to be sorely disappointed.

Cue the large black terrorist-soldier in "The Rock"

^^You mean the same guy that was air-mailed into San Fran Bay via the good guy that listens to that 'soft shit?'  Insert irony here please!

And Boston doesn't need to do anything to live out my promise that the Marlins don't win anything this year.  I think after winning two WS in the past four years Boston has earned the right to have an off year (even though they are one of the top teams in the league right now).

Hey...it was just his quote that I was borrowing there, not his flight habits or the foolishness he exhibited in trying to kill Nicholas Cage in the middle of a Nicholas Cage movie.

Geez, it's a good thing I didn't quote John Lennon...you'd probably shoot me on the sidewalk.

The mundane nature of the comeback should have delayed you even further... Wink

I like what I am seeing out of the Marlins...I think their pitching will get better as Andrew continues to improve, and some of the missing horses (Josh, Sanchez, etc...). I think FL already has the bats  to make a playoff run, and just hope that when they are still in contention once the trade deadline gets here, that management makes a deal to bring in a veteran arm to help the postseason push.

Make sure you turn on the tube Friday against the Rays. My boy from AA Tucker is making his second start. He pitched a really solid game against Cincy a few days ago.

Marlins are a fastball-mashing bunch. Nothing in Moyer's arsenal could be mistaken as a fastball...
