i was looking through IMDB today and found that a fourth Bourne film could be in the works and is said to be released in 2010. it doesn't have a name yet, it's just listed as Untitled Jason Bourne Project all it says that it's announced.

So who thinks they would be interested in seeing this movie, it's the fourth installment of the Bourne series: Bourne identity, Bourne supremacy, and Bourne Ultimatum have been the other three (for those not familiar with the series)

Not much. but this is the site. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1194173/

I'm not really into this series.  I find the camera work to be too shaky and disorienting, from what I remember.  And the story is kinda convoluted.  It seemed like a poor man's James Bond.  I saw the first two, but never made it around to the third.

I watched the first two, but didn't catch the third. It seemed to get a little monotonous... Why can't Matt do a sequel to something worthwhile...like Dogma.

Possible titles for the newest Bourne movie...

"The Bourne Redundancy"

"Bourne Again...and Again"

"Bourne, but then I forget"

I loved the series and the books were even better. Reading the books I never would have put Matt Damon as the Jason Bourne........Now I couldn't picture anyone else. The Fight scenes are pretty damn good for someone who no fight experience. Looking forward to 2010, thanks for the info.

Greengrass seemed to have learned from the mistakes he made on the second film, and made the third one into the best of the series, and one of the best action films of all time. So it's safe to say, personally, I'm excited for the 4th film. This is one series that has proven it can go past a trilogy and maintain quality.

After looking on wiki i think the movie is going to be called The Bourne Legacy,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Bourne

The movies seem to follow the novels so that's the logical fit

Novels:
    * The Bourne Identity (1980)
    * The Bourne Supremacy (1986)
    * The Bourne Ultimatum (1990)
    * The Bourne Legacy (2004)
    * The Bourne Betrayal (2007)

I really liked the first one.

The second one was passable but very forgettable.

The third, I really can't even tell you if I've seen it or not.  Maybe on a plane ride?  I don't know.

The third one, Bourne Supremacy, won 3 technical Oscars (sound, editing and sound editing), so I think it's safe to say that part was solid!

Personally, I found the third one by far the best of the three. I quite liked the first one as well, but the second one was really bad.

I'd also be there for the fourth.  Love this series.  Some (like me) would even argue that the James Bond retooling (Casino Royale) was because of the Bourne movies.

The Bourne Regurgitation

I wish movie producers could come up with original ideas.

Didn't he die before writing the last two books?

I like the first Bourne movie with the German actress (can't think of her name  at the moment). The casting in the movie was balanced an excellent and it really gave you the sense of an international movie with this agent caught in two different worlds at the same time.

I would not be surprised that if the 4th Bourne installment doesn't go right, they will probably do a reboot and show how he got involved and trained as a top assassin.

Yeah,    Eric Van Lustbader continued the series after Robert Ludlum died
