When Kevin Furlong received an e-mail from an employee of the Detroit Lions ticket office, he did a double take.

"F--- 'em until next year," it said.

It was an inadvertent transmission, meant to be sent from one Lions employee, Matt Schul, to another, Lance Powser, about Furlong's ordeal with the Lions ticket office. Furlong felt compelled to cancel six season tickets worth more than $5,000 for the 2008 season. The Lions were trying to convince him to renew.

Kevin Furlong won't have email at his next job...just a deep fryer and a drive-thru window.

Furlong is the fan.  Schul will be retrieving your chicken nuggets and fries from the hearting lamp.

Reason 1,234,432 why you NEVER and I mean EVER say anything on company email that you wouldn't want a customer to see.

Only an historically inept Detroit Lions organization could pull this off!

I read about this today and thought along the same lines as what ethurst said
"Only in the Lions organization..."

I'd sue the Lions organization..... but instead of money, I'd ask for a lifetime luxury box...... with all the trimmings.

^^^Having to sit and watch the Lions for a lifetime...wouldn't that be more of a punishment?

Freaking amazing.  Folks whine and cry about there being too many lawsuits and lawyers being scum for taking (what often are very legitimate cases).

Then the same folks say "I'd sue" for the most fucking trivial things.  What the guy going to sue for?  Rude customer service?  There is no such cause of action.

The old lady in the McDonald's coffee case had medical bills and was in the hospital for 4 days with serious burns.  This guy was told to fuck off.

Sir or Maam.  Stop posting as Hoodie.  You have made me laugh and now you are forcing me to agree with you under that name.

Yeah, and what about the lady where the Walgreens employees were writing nasty computer notes about her on her prescription drugs and she got a hold of some of those notes?

It's called slanderous statements, and in this day and age, if this guy sues, he may very well get something.
