I would take Aaron Rodgers in SF in a heartbeat...

And Tek...Last I heard, Green Bay has zero problems putting asses in seats (they have a waiting list for season tix that's over 80,000 people long), and Brett's leaving isn't going to change that. The Packers are the only game in town, and they'll pack the house, win or lose, every weekend.

Green Bay is the only publicly owned NFL franchise, so sometimes it's a bit hard to determine motivations. For any other NFL team, there is a huge incentive for the owner to keep a big star: Local merchandising sales. Unlike non-local sales, the franchises get to keep the profits from local sales without sharing them with everyone else.

I just read that he has requested his release from the Packers. This tells me he may already have something worked out with another team. Can we say tampering?
