There's not too many choices or scenarios for Brett Farve to come back. The only team that I see him quarterbacking for is the team that he started with.

The Atlanta Falcons.

I think the Falcons need a quarterback and Farve would be a hour plane ride from home.

Jets, Dolphins, 49ers, Texans? No. They are going with the youth movement at QB.

Can't see him playing for the Bears. I guess that's why the GM doesn't want to release him because the Bears would pick him up and he knows all of Green Bays' offensive tendencies. If they do make a deal, they will try to send him to an AFC team but it's not much out there.

So my question to all of you is what team does he fit in with best?

They drafted Matt Ryan at #3 and are going to pay him a ton of money to sit on the bench, so that they can bring in Brett Favre and pay him a ton of money? I don't see it happening.

I think his best bet is in Green Bay, as a backup.  Aaron Rodgers might suck or get hurt, and Brett can come save the day.  ...or at least be on call.

I don't think it will happen, but I think it's the best situation.

I hope he lands on his sofa...

Favre will never be the backup in Green Bay.  The first time Aaron Rodgers throws an interception, they'll pan over to Favre on the sidelines, fans will start calling for Favre, etc.  It'll be all-out chaos.

By the time this plays out Favre will remain retired is my opinion.

Quote
According to Van Susteren, who spoke to the AP by telephone Monday afternoon, Favre said he was "never fully committed" to retiring and felt pressured by the Packers to make a decision, a notion Packers general manager Ted Thompson and coach Mike McCarthy tried to dispel in an interview with the AP on Saturday.

Brett seems to be dishonest here, over the last three or four years Brett has never honored the time lines, he made his own time table as to deciding to retire or play.
I find it odd he is calling the packer organization liars when history point's to the facts. This is Farve at his best, trying to get the spot light and playing the media like a fiddle. Brett you want to talk about being dishonest, who was crying on TV saying he had nothing left in him to play ? And then tell us he is 100% committed to play, will the real Brett Farve please step forward.

Hey, Joe, where do I sign up to join the "I hate Brett Favre" fan club?

I hate that Favre has his own category on ESPN's bottom line.
I hate that Favre can't make up his mind
I hate that Favre always wants to be in the media spotlight
I hate that Favre can never do any wrong
I hate that Favre is still in my face, IN JULY.

Hang it up, old man, and stop polluting my TV.
