Hard to say, but part of me thinks they did away with IDP because of how dominant TDMMC was on defense the past two seasons. Last year was just insane...we had an '85 Bears caliber D, but better. What we had was more like if the '85 Bears D were all armed with laser cannons. When the season ended, we had 6 of the top-10 overall IDP scorers in our 6 active IDP slots.

I love IDP...

TDMMC's Special Porpoise came out of the first round bye last week and had to face the team that always gives us fits, Phinatics.com this week. The pigskin gods are smiling...and TDMMC pulls out the 93-69 win behind McNabb and a balanced attack. TDMMC now advances to the championship game with the opportunity to win our second straight Phinsmasters Challenge. Our opponent, barring a late scoring change, will be the Two Michelles, who ended up this round tied with Buchler's Finatics. Tiebreaker in ESPN is higher seed advances, and that'd be Dos Michellos.

Cross your fingers...go TDMMC!!

I'd like nothing more than to start a Phinsmasters FFL dynasty for TDMMC and run off 3-4 titles in a row...you know, just to piss on a few trees and mark our territory so the other sites understand whose yard they're playing in.

What's the skinny on the Super Bowl matchup?

Do we have the better team?

Pretty evenly matched...ESPN's version of the comm guru gives her a 108-106 projection, but I think I've got a slight advantage based on some favorable RB/WR matchups. Nowhere near the dominant squad as last year's champion, but after a slow start, we've won 8 of our last 9 weekly matchups. I think we'll have enough to give us one more win...
