Nothing surprises me anymore.  I don't even care about this, either way.  I'm not making any judgments until I see these guys play.

Yay, our third year in a row of getting a washed-up QB that's trying to make a comeback from a major injury.  Maybe next year we can get Jake Delhomme!

As sad as it is........Chad is an upgrade over the players we currently have. A few days before he became available and Farve was still up in the Air , our QB's were shitting the bed. Interception after interception.  You can have the best arm in the world , but if you turn over the ball you are useless.  My Guess is Parcells sees Beck and Henne as Projects that will learn better how to control the ball. Josh has no excuses. He is an official NFL Bust.  Chad was brought in to teach them how to control the ball and manage a game at the NFL level.  Who knows? Maybe he will actually win a few games in the process.

I hate the smell and taint of the Jets pedigree he brings with him as much as the next guy..........but considering our options, this was a smart move.

In all fairness, isn't Favre contract a LOT heftier than Pennington's?

Chad's lack of arm strength won't matter this year, as the Phins don't have any receivers that can get way down field anyways.

WTF... why is this even an option... once again the Dolphins managment continues to show that they are incompetent ( Ted Ginn/ Jake Long waste of 1st round picks 2 years in a row)... So Fla is where seniors and washed up football players come to retire.

Jake actually held his own out there. Had a false start penalty, but that was about it.

Wow preseason just started and Jake is already a bust.

Cut him. Cut him and Ted Ginn. In fact lets cut anyone who was here before Parcells. Bell- cut. Allen (both of them)- cut. Ronnie Brown- cut. Crowder- cut. All the players here before Parcells- cut. See ya. You all suck. Meanwhile, Josh McCown and Ernest Wilford looked great out there, didn't they?

This was an over exaggeration to prove how foolish some people sound when they say that any previous regime had no idea what they were doing.

LOL I think that about sums up my feelings on the whole thing as well. I have never liked Chad....I do think he is a little more talented than what we have....but that isn't saying anything. Ok great so a solid turd is better than diarrhea...whoopty doo. He will be injured by week 4 and then we will still have to start Josh. Who by the way I watched many times here in AZ while he was with the Cardinals and again I say....

While I may not be overly excited about the whole thing I will support him and hope he is successful here in Miami.....like I have with every turd before him.   Undecided
