Flacco's the new quarterback for the Ravens. Boller has been placed on IR after what is likely a torn labrum failed to respond to treatment. Considering Boller's main claim to fame was his arm, you have to wonder what he'll be capable of in the future.

Anyone think this might represent an opportunity for Beck (and the Phins)?

I'm sure Baltimore would be willing to part with at least a sixth rounder for Beck now.

Then we can pick up Chris Simms or Daunte Culpepper.

Why don't the Ravens just pick up Simms or Daunte instead of spending a draft pick on Beck?  Cameron has no power there.

Why don't the Ravens just forget about any of those guys since they signed Todd Bouman yesterday and still have Troy Smith along with Flacco?

In other words, before making assumptions, look at what they already have done!

I still really like Joe Flacco, even though he didn't get selected by Miami. If the line in Baltimore keeps him from getting killed, he should develop into a very good QB.

Tommy was too excited to try and dump Beck on them that he forgot to bash Cameron.

You're right. I think Cameron tore Boller's labrum.

You're right. I think Cameron tore Boller's labrum.

That cartilage was obviously designed to fail forward fast.

Yeah, Cameron needed Boller's thumbs to go this way...subsequently tearing his labrum.

At least Cameron didn't draft Boller's entire family.
