I've already seen 2 plays like the great escape in the Superbowl, just in the first drive. Burress looks damn good too.

Caps the drive off with a run for a TD.

Holy crap!

Burress is on fire tonight.  He should be since he signed that multiyear deal.  I'm glad because I have him starting tonight in one of my fantasy leagues.

It was funny seeing JT get faked out of his skin.

Although it's only 16-7, the Giants have totally dominated this game.  If the Redskins end up sucking this year, it's gonna be really good for the Dolphins as that second round pick will shoot up the draft board.

On a side note, I noticed Antonio Pierce getting into it with Pete Kendall.  Pierce punched Kendall in the face.  Kendall then proceeded to rip of Pierce's helmet, then headbutt him.  No flags were thrown for some reason.  It would not surprise me if both men were fined five figures, especially Kendall.  You wanna act like you were raised by wild animals, Goodell tends to hit you in the wallet pretty hard.

The trouble is, Jim Zorn didn't trade for Jason Taylor's family.

Jason Taylor was a non factor with only TWO tackles, didn't Jason want to be traded to winning team ? There's always next week Jason.

Maybe he should have. He would have gotten Zach too.  Grin

omg the redskins lost to the defending world champions.  if you look bad playing the world champion on week 1 you might as well just hang up the season.    Huh

I knew JT losing all that weight would be a factor with his play...I mean you could say the leg injury as well but how many DE are there at his weight...what is he at 250 now?  Seeing as he had like 2% body fat when he was in the high 260's, all that dancing made him lose muscle mass...its a shame because that's a perfect weight for our 3-4 defense as an OLB...oh well screw him...he plays for another team now.  All I know is he looked pretty shitty out there tonight.

You're right. The 'perfect' Patsies lost to a 10-6 wild card team.

I watched the game at a sports bar just outside of Boston in a city called Malden. Some of you may know where this is. But anyway, Everyone who was in the bar cheering for the Skins was wearing Patsies gear Cheesy Get over it sore losers. Don't be mad at the Giants for beating your team, be mad at  the Patsies for losing.

Exactly. It's a pretty decent bar. My girlfriend lives out there. She's a rabid Patsies fan. I hate her.
