Do you really think they will go the rest of the year with Cassel?

Considering they're bringing in Chris Simms for a workout, I seriously doubt it.  Take any decent QB and surround him with the talent on this offense and he'll look really good.

I was disgusted at ESPN Cafe today to hear cheers when Brady went down. I understand that the Patriots are hated, but seriously? You are cheering a guys injury? I find that to be childish and disgusting.

Sorry to say, but the guys at the Ale House I was at were cheering for his injury too.  The majority of them had on Dolphins, Jets, or Steelers jerseys.

Could this still be karma for spygate?  I can almost guarantee TMQ (Gregg Easterbrook at ESPN) will say so.

It very well could be.  Also known out west as "Cheaters Justice"

In response to the thread that was locked, I was directing my "payback's a bitch" comment to those who were on this board laughing when Ronnie went down.  That was classless and now you get to see what it's like on the other side of the coin.  Don't like it?  Pot meet kettle.  Hoping people die because of a comment made on a message board from people you have provoked for 2 years: Classless.

I don't think I had joined yet when Ronnie got injured.  But I do recall posting that it sucked the Ricky got injured after working so hard to return.

I will laugh at another teams loss of a game.  But I don't laugh at people getting injured.  There is a difference.

Let's face it, no one is cheering that Brady got hurt, at least I don't think so.  The rest of the league has taken so much gloating and bragging and crap from both the media and Patriots' fans themselves over the past year.  No one's happy to see a guy get his knee busted, but people are happy to see some of these Pats fans get back a bit of what they dish out.  People are happy to know that their team *might* have a chance now because the NFL can't give the Patriots automatic tickets to the Super Bowl now.  I agree that cheering for a guy to get hurt is classless and despicable, but I think that some Patriots' fans have dished it out and now they can't take it back.

I disagree Brian - you missed it when you went to the bathroom, but the table of Eagles fans? Nasty.

Its a commonly known fact that Eagles fans are the most asshole fans in the league.  They're just as bad as, maybe worse than, Jets fans.

Let's face it, we really don't even know the extent of his injury until his MRI results are released.  Yeah, I will admit I smiled when I heard he was out of the game, but when I saw they play where his knee got rolled up on, I cringed.  As much as fans of other teams "hate" a good opposing player, I don't like to see severe injuries to anyone.

If it seems like I'm backtracking, I will restate that my previous comment was to ONE person on this board who particularly enjoyed rubbing it in when Ronnie got hurt and our team was winless.  I was in no way making fun of the injury.

Raiders fans can't be too far behind.

There are only two types of NFL fans...

1- fans from the Northeast (Jets, Eagles, etc) and Raiders fans
2 - human
