I'd like to say one thing though...........say what you want about Tom Brady, right now he is sitting in his wheel chair getting oral from a supermodel.  Tongue

Hey D5499,

Usually, chicks like that chase the money. If he can't make it back, she will probably dump him and get the next up and coming stud out of college that just signed a big contract. There are women who really hustle athletes. Shocked

Define miss a beat?

Go the playoffs?

or does it require a bit more to say the team didn't miss a beat?

Like win 18 games this season,

The Patriots were NEVER going to get close again this year. They might have won (and they might still) the Super Bowl, but they were definitely not nearly as good a team (with Brady) this year as they were last year.

I've always felt Brady was overrated as well, but he's still a very good quarterback... so I wouldn't expect a backup to come in and match the numbers Brady would have gotten.

To me, if Cassel pulls off a "very good" season in terms of QB stats, then would definitely be the clincher.

Yeah, if Brady doesn't come back, Gisele could be swallowing some White Cassel instead...

The Pats are already down to #7 from #1 last week:

We are climbing the ladder up to #24 despite losing becuase we gave the Jets a good fight and really should have won the game.

ESPN has Pats at 9.  (down from 1).  Mia is at 24 up from 25.

Which, of course, is why you went to the trouble of listing both teams from multiple sources, from last week and this week. Mmm hmmmm... Wink

I was showing the wide variance in the supposed experts opinion on the rankings.  But being this is the NFL and not college it doesn't matter, cause the only way you get invited to a bowl game is win the AFCCG or NFCCG.  No by your ranking.

Wheel chair? For an ACL?

It was an ACL/MCL according to reports so he won't have surgery for a month

18-1

1-15

Only a Dozen spots between the 2 after 1 week?  Roll Eyes  Even though we lost and you won?

I'd be concerned bro.  VERY VERY concerned.  Evil

Brady was league MVP last year.  Obviously the team is not as good without him as it was with him.

I stand by the three prediction I made BC (before Cassel).

1. The Dolphins will have a better regular season record this year than they had last year.
2. The Patriots will not have as good of a regular season record this year as they had last year.
3. The Patriot will have a better regular season record than the Dolphins.
