^^^^^^

Way to go Defense!!!!!!

And to the Patriots fans that are whining, this is what I have to say.  A key player of yours got hurt early on, so what??  This has happened to nearly every team at one time or another.  Deal with it!!!

Thanks, I needed some tampons. Appreciate it.

It's football, injuries happen. It sucks when it's your best player, but you do suck it up and move on. My problem is ass clowns that openly cheer an injury. It's classless

I agree that it's wrong to openly cheer an injury, but a star like Brady going down for the season does generate some buzz among fans of rival teams.  There's a big difference between. "Brady's gone!!!  YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!"  vs "OMG!!!  Brady is done for the year!!!"

I agree and would never do so, however Patriots fans are about the most classless bunch their are.  That starts with their coach, permeates through the players and end with the people in the stands.

This sucks for Brady, if it's as bad as it looks it could seriously hamper a furthering of his career (I tore an ACL and an MCL, I know).

So while I myself would never cheer and injury (I've been the guy laying on the turf) I understand why people hate the Patriots and their fans, it's something Patriots fans have brought upon themselves.  And down the road when the Pats are having bad years and other teams are running up the scores and leaving their starters in in blowouts, I will be interested to see the pats fans reactions.... ooo thats right the bandwagon is already falling apart, and they haven't even lost yet.

I am a Patriots fan and am nothing as you described but I heard the "Yes! F the Pats and Tom Brady, I'm glad he's hurt"

I have never considered myself classless, maybe I'm wrong and if I am, someone please correct me

I didn't Gloat about Tom Brady's injury, actually because of fans like Sportschick..Who didn't gloat when we're down....Err now, or errr  like We have been....There are Pats fans smart enough to realize, that her team isn't always going to be winning...

There are plenty of classless Dolphins fans,Patriots fans,Jets fans,Whatever Fans...There are alos a lot of good ones too...

I mean I don't want Tom hurt..I want all his o-lineman nicked up so he wouldn't have 20 seconds to throw the ball every time he dropped back to throw the ball,So then he would be like all the rest of the QB's in the League! Tongue Cheesy

I have to admit, I laughed but not because of Tom Brady got hurt...but for all the fantasy guy's that Took Tom Brady in the first round of their fantasy draft.....and how they're crying in their Beer...About the same way I felt for the Steven Jackson owners....

'72 - The Perfect Season

I can't say I'm sorry that the Pats will be without Brady. I'm certainly not crying for the Patriots or their fans.   But I'm not cheering the injury and I'm not going to laugh at or mock the board members that are Patriot fans.  It shows a complete lack of class and sportsmanship.  I thought Pats2006's response was also classless and I'm not defending it.

You come to OUR site daily and WE are the aholes?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "OUR site"? ultimately, it's Dave's site, and I think he's been pretty clear that fans of other teams are welcome and encouraged to participate. Personally, I think it's a strength of our board.  We get a variety of viewpoints and some of our more entertaining posts come from fans of other teams.

Every other fan site is plagued by trolls, but it's pretty rare here.  This site takes all the fun out of it by giving them a place to spew without a flamewar.  I don't consider Denver, Pats, Hoodie, Jtex, etc, to be trolls.  They are part of our disfunctional TDMCC family and the site wouldn't be as much fun if weren't here.

I don't think the Patriot fans are any better or worse than the fans of any other team.  I get sick of hearing it, but that's what happens when your rivals win.  It was no different when the Bills were dominating the AFC in the early 90's.  The idea that it's okay to celebrate because they somehow brought this on themselves doesn't work for me.

JVides had a good post in another thread that captured my feelings.  Watching the Pats lose the Superbowl at full strength was one of my sweetest moments as a Dolphin fan.  It's always good to see the Patriots lose, but watching them lose a game after their best player goes down just doesn't have the same impact.

I'm not going to cry with the Patriot's over this, but I'm not going to be a dick about it either.

^ just pointing out, the Patriots still won the game

As far as being "classy" or "classless",  I am going to give it back to those that dish it out.  If that makes me classless so be it.  At least I did not wish anyone would break their neck or die.

I obviously wasn't speaking to you personally, sorry if you took offense.  As was stated there are bad fans in every bunch, but Boston fans as a whole are obnoxious.  I live in the thick of it and have to deal with it everyday.  And yes I was mocked when Ronnie Brown got hurt last year by Patriots fans.

And yes the Pats did win the game, and by no stretch is their season over, Brady didn't/doesn't make that team.  IMHO Brady is a good NFL quaterback, but he is vastly overrated.

I was sitting next to a Pats fan, and I admit...I laughed when he went down. But as soon as I realized that he was actually hurt, I turned to the guy and apologized to him. The major reaction at the bar that I went to was more like "Ohhhhhhhhhhh!" collectively.

We must have been at different bars.  The largest cheer in the bar last night was him getting hurt and then the announcement he might be out 6 weeks.

This is a direct quote from one of the fans in the bar,

"I hope the motherfukker never walks again."
