The Pats have lost a vital part of their offense, and the Jets have gained a vital part in Favre. I hate both teams, but one of the 4 AFC East teams will win the division (obviously)

It isn't going to be the Phins, and it may not be the Jets. Now, enter my delimma...Who do I root for next week? The Jets or Pats? Do I want to see the Jets lose, or the Pats? Hatred divided by Hatred equals one, so which one will it be?

WHo will the rest of you be rooting for in that game?

the pats.  they won't win as many games as the jets now, so any damage they can do to them would be greatly appreciated.  besides, the jets are infinitely more evil than the pats.  don't let the pat's recent success cloud your judgement.

I'm hoping to see Mangini and Belichick get into a vicious postgame fistfight at midfield, inciting a riot in the stands that leaves thousands of Pats and Jets fans in a great deal of physical pain and causes the league to suspend both head coaches for the rest of the season. This is what I'm rooting for...and my roots are strong.

I still think the team to beat in the East is the Pats, without Brady.  They're 11 guys on that offense, and they only lost 1 of them.  They won't be the same, but the way they were blowing people out last year makes me think they'll be alright.  I certainly think they'll be better than the Jets.

you can have all the parts to a ferarri, but if you don't have the engine, how do you expect it to go anywhere?

I think that Cassell makes the Patriots MORE dangerous on offense.

He's a gunslinger (which at times, gets him in trouble with Belichick) and he's more likely to take off from the pocket and run and is very athletic.

Brady did not play well in the playoffs last year. I think that if Brady wasn't hurt, we could have seen a subtle decline in his play this year. He's getting into his 30's and that's when the decline starts.  Again, it was evident in the Super Bowl and playoffs.

So igf you've got Cassell, who is a threat to run, someone had got to watch him.

I think that the Pats will win the AFC East. Belichick is going to have to coach his *&@ off this year.

Hmmm, so does that mean Marino WAS the engine, but we just didn't have the parts to the Ferarri?   Grin

I'm rooting for the Jets BTW, NE is still better than them with or without the engine. The Jets only have the instruction manual on how to build a ferarri. The more losses for NE the better. IMO

Jets fans are already acting retarded, like saying how the Jets played poorly and still dominated the Dolphins on Sunday. They need a shot back into reality that their team isn't that good.  Therefore, I hope the pats win then start their losing streak.

I don't know anyone who is talking about the Pats going undefeated this season.

Not just the Pats, I was rooting for the Bears Sunday night, too.
