I would have liked it better if the Rays actually beat Detroit last night to win the division, but I'll take a Sox loss.  Everyone saw it coming...now it's official.

I was thinking the same thing.  Doesn't matter either way but it would have been more appropriate for this team to win the division on a win versus someone else losing.

Congrats, Rays!  Is there a new empire brewing?

^ Maybe with the old ownership, but the new ownership is thoroughly invested in this team...Rays will be even better next year.

I know a bunch of us predicted they would be tough this season and win like 85 games, but did anyone have THIS?
