As I was Walking into Vote, I saw a table On the parking lot,and 5 people with Clip boards standing next to it,then chasing people down...to ask them how they voted....I went in to vote,Ran into a couple of Co workers, and a nieghbor...All of Us white men....We stood outside the church, where we're told to vote...No one ever approached us to ask us how we voted,we stood there for maybe 5 minutes...I tend to live in a bad neighborhood, but thought it was interesting to see them Literally chasing every black person after they vote,to see how they voted....

It made me wonder.....

Did anyone ask you how you voted after you voted?

I voted in the presidential election by absentee ballot, but when I voted in the primary, I lied to the pollster, and told him that I voted for Huckabee. I would have lied today too, and told them Obama.

Why would you do that?

Frimp is right.  One of your constitutional rights is the right to a secret ballot.

Luckily, no one asked me who I voted for.  If they did, I would've told them that I will not reveal who I voted for.

While it is your constitutional right to a secret ballot very few people keep it a secret, sharing their views with friends, spouses, coworkers, the TDMMC community, etc.  If a pollster ask me I would tell them who I voted for just like do when others ask me who I voted for.

I don't mind sharing my views with people I know.  Random pollsters do not fall into that category.

Huge difference.  We might not be friends but we are a friendly community here on line.  There is a large difference between offering your opinion on line and being confronted by someone at the polls.  I don't mind offering that opinion on my own terms.  I would rather not be asked.

I was asked and declined to answer with one exception - and that was a question on a local school consolidation question.

I was in Uniform right before work so I'm not allowed to share any views.

Couldn't really care anymore at this point. As Long as GW and DICK are gone I'm a happy camper.

Then tell them that. Lying about something so trivial is just stupid.

Why does it matter? And if its so trivial, why get so serious about it?
