The past 2 weeks Cassel has put up some crazy numbers and has shown that he is a starting QB in this league. Last week vs. the Jets he had 400 yards, 3 TD's, and 65 rushing yards with no INT.   This week vs. Miami he has put up 415 yards, 3 TD's, 1 INT and had 14 rushing yards with a rushing TD.

I dont know who he will go to.  I know the Pats are not going to offer him the money that he can get if he goes to another team.  I think he will be a backup QB for another team next year.

Detroit may throw some big bucks at him.  Culpepper was awful today.  I can also see him ending up in San Fran.

He better not go anywhere else unless he wants to commit career suicide.  Take whatever they pay you, win and hold your clip board.

I really doubt he would be satisfied with backup money, holding a clip board and watching Brady.  I really doubt Bledsoe cherishes his SB ring.

Tom Brady's career might be over already. He was still hurt in the beginning of the year from an injury the previous season. It was blatantly obvious before his other leg got shredded into swiss cheese.

Hmmm...Here's the teams who need help at QB...

Detroit
San Fran
Houston
KC?
St. Louis
Minnesota

And possibly the Jets after next year's Favre soap opera...and I'm SURE there will be one.

I think San Fran or Minnesota would be the best fit.

However, D_B has a point too.

That would be incorrect, he did have an ankle injury to start the season but it was the OTHER ankle from the one he had an injury with in the super bowl

Bulger got knocked in the head again today, so add the Rams to the "help us we really really need a starting QB" list of teams.

I don't know, but I hope that it's not Miami.

The Lions have Drew Stanton on the bench. Second pick in the second round last year. He was drafted with an injury and spent his rookie season on IR. He hasn't seen much time and was promptly laid out with a concussion today when subbed in for Culpepper.

Not ideal, but I don't think the Lions are going to pull the trigger on a one-season performer who had (has) some of the best talent in the league around him.

He's gonna get a big signing Bonus somewhere. Something tells me he is Seattlebound. Mark this thread.  Wink

I think the 49ers are a possibility, though Shaun Hill has looked pretty decent in 2 starts since replacing O'Sullivan. Cassel sure has looked impressive the last couple of weeks, but I'd like to see how he sustains it before I say I want my favorite team to lay a huge contract on him.
