I do not believe I belittle anyone for their view points. If I did, then someone please show me where.
I never said you did, nor have I said that your points against the man's policies are wrong. Don't take what I'm saying out of context. I'm not offering an opinion on that. What I am saying is that it's hard to take these questions at face value from someone generally opposed to Obama in the first place.
In regards to "the old guard" I think it's important to realize that Obama is the change and filling his posts with rivals that don't see eye to eye with him is a progressive move. I'm not sure what you were expecting, perhaps a McCain-ish appointment to an important post, but I feel that these are positive changes. He isn't filling his room with "yes" men or women.
I also think that change doesn't have to mean "brand new people we've never heard of."
A GOP candidate that would have been able to run successfully on change, and would have had my support, is Huckabee. And he is certainly part of that "old guard."
