Still in last place, but I pulled to within 3 points of Lil B, and he made the mistake of picking Philly players.  I'll leapfrog him in the Super Bowl.

I deserve to lose.  I had a cap problem (I was at 50.1 million) and I took out Fitzy like a dumbass.  I really am pissed at myself because I didn't realize I did that until just now.  I had him on my team since week 1.

Flippity flip.

Thankfully I'll have a full roster for the SB...Glad I changed from Philly to AZ players on Saturday.

Looks like at least 3-4 people still have a realistic shot, so it should be interesting.

I went with the all or nothing approach this wek...Hopeing all you guy's with the Fitzgerald/Warners combos would have less players....Ohh well It was better than playing safe like I have in years past and ended up at the bottom! Cheesy

Any time you're not running in front, the ballsy way is always the best way to go at it. No one remembers whether you finished 2nd or 7th... um, come to think of it, no one will remember who won either, except the person who wins. For everyone else, the game will disappear like a mustard fart in the wind...momentarily tangy, and then forgotten.

(and yes, I stole part of that mustard fart line from Things to do in Denver When You're Dead)

If anyone checked out the standings of this game today and didn't see my entry there any more, I apologize for the momentary "wtf?" you may have experienced. I was participating in two groups for this game, the TDMMC group and the ESPN Top 50 fantasy gaming group. The "1 of 10" ranking for TDMMC is groovy and all, but on my ESPN games "Uber" page, I wanted to have my "2 of 30" for ESPN Top 50 as the displayed finish, because most of the views on that page will come from other ESPN Top 50 group members and members of other top ESPN gaming groups. Plus, when all of my games listed are top-3 in ESPN Top 50 competition, I'd allow myself to start talking smack with those guys. Wink

On a side note... ESPN has a ton of different fantasy games throughout the year, and if any of the TDMMC crew are interested in playing any of them, just let me know. The schedule for the 2009 Fantasy season on ESPN is here:  http://games.espn.go.com/uber/story?pageName=2009\schedule

Modified to add...the standings now show the Orlando Highway Hostages as the group winner, so congrat's to Orlando. Grin

In other words, you'd rather hang out with the cool kids than us little people.  Sorry its "embarrassing" for you to win over us mere novices... Roll Eyes

Yeah, that's it Roll Eyes ...though I do owe $100 to your novice brother at the next YJFF draft. (fukk-fukk-fukk)

Tell me straight though, because I am curious. When you do a TDMMC game on ESPN, do you even look at the games profiles of the other folks?

Do any of the rest of ya?

In regular fantasy "draftable" leagues against the rest of the unwashed masses on ESPN, I'm that manic mutherfukker that looks at everyone's profile to gauge who's a vet and who's a rook, so I can better project which other drafters are likely to know a certain sleeper, or be up on an injury status of a player, etc...

Yeah, I know... I'd considering therapy, but my insurance doesn't cover it and I'm a little cash-tight right now. Wink
