You're comparing a heavily favored 18-0 team choking in the Super Bowl to an over-achieving underdog coming off a 1-15 season?

Schandenfreude is the least of your problems.

Nope I am comparing Pat2006 taking pleasure in the Ravens win to your taking pleasure in the Giants win.

Both were schandenfreude.

BTW I was rooting for the Dolphins in this game.

Then it applys to every football fan in the world who is not a Patriots fan because the rest of us were cheering for the Giants.

I think anyone that enjoys an honest game that isn't dominated by cheaters were rooting for the Giants.

Actually there were a few Jets, Cowboys, and Redskins fans who hate the Giants more.

This thread is about the Dolphins, not the Patriots or the Giants.  Congratulations Dolphins on a great season.  We can wear our Dolphins gear with pride once again.

Apples and oranges to those of us not suffering from diminished mental development.

The Giants win was very unexpected.  Dolphin fans had a stake in that outcome.

The Miami loss was not unexpected.  New England fans had no stake in the outcome.

True..True...
I have a very good friend that I work with that's a Giants fan, and the office is sometimes a horrible HORRIBLE place because its packed with Cowboys fans.... When it comes to NFC teams, the Cowboys are probably my most disliked. Which brings great stress to a good number of friendships i have, because apparently a lot of folks like them.  Since I had a few of their players spread throughout my fantasy teams I squelched my dislike for them, but was very happy to see them eliminated from the playoffs.

Really? Even the ones that weren't even a sperm sample yet  in 1972 had a stake in that game?

Wrong again......... Roll Eyes

I've heard of hatred and envy making someone blind, but stupid?

The Dolphins are still the only team to go through a season and playoffs undefeated.
