Huge game tonight and I have a bad feeling we are going to get crushed. I don't know if I can take another embarrasing lose again.

If we lose tonight, I have to hear about how the Big Ten and Ohio State are overatted on every sports show for another year. It's maddening. I may have to take a break.

i follow the longhorns religiously, and this team is way stacked... but i think that they are on a big time downer after being passed up by the sooners to go to the championship game.

wouldn't surprise me at all if they come out real flat in this one.

the big ten is traditionally overhyped and overrated .. that just comes from them having the ABC/ESPN contract .. if ESPN had the SEC contract instead of CBS then the SEC would be all over ESPN at all hours instead of the big 10

Even if Ohio State wins tonight, people will still be down on them and the Big Ten because of the unprecedented bowl losses of late.

Kirk 'hater' Herbstreet said this morning regarding team speed: "football has changed and the Big Ten hasn't changed with it"

He used to be an Ohio State Quarterback... and a really bad, SLOW one.

That would be the BCS champion.  But not the solely recognized national champion. 

Utah is the national champion.  Only undefeated team.

being undefeated doesn't make you a national champion in ncaa fbs division football. there is no playoff tournament, only the bcs #1 vs #2 championship game. all the other bowl games don't mean squat, and are irrelevant.

best you can hope for is consolation voting from the ap poll, but with usc and texas winning, i would highly doubt ap will confirm anyone other than the bcs championship winner as its national champ.

Wow, what a game. I'm obviously bummed we lost, but I can't tell you how relieved I am we didn't get stomped again.

The team showed up and played their heart out and gave themselves a chance to win. I can't ask for more considering recent history.
