It used to be "I never would have gotten together with my ex"  but I don't know that if I hadn't een in something so bad, I would have realized how awesome I have it now.

The same can be said of anything in your life.  If you took the bus instead of drove your car one day, your entire life would most likely be different, if you're a believer in the butterfly effect, which I am.

I assumed that this question was more -- if all other things remained the same, but you'd done one thing differently.

If that's the case, I would not have gotten together with my ex.  Total waste of 6 years of my life.

While I can appriciate that and your attitude.......Nobody or anything we have done is perfect.

My life has not been perfect and I have made a lot of wrong decisions, but I still would not change anything.

I would have put more effort into high school not only academically but socially as well. I wish I didn't spend so much time hating the place!

Oh man if I could go back in time with what I know now............. Roll Eyes

Fair enough. But I still have a hard time believing that given a wish to go back and do it over you wouldn't do something different.

Stl's point is that she's happy with life now.  So, without her mistakes, she wouldn't be where she is now, thus risking losing that happiness.

Put the energy I spent on being in bands into something else or never hooking up with my daughter's mother.

Poof.  No daughter then.  Would you be willing to make that switch?  I would rather someone come hack my apart with a butter knife than my daughter never existing.

Like I said........fair enough. I totally get and respect that. But if given 1 chance I just have a hard time beliving she would do something different along the way to give her greater happiness.

An embarrassing moment........something.

I think most of us are all happy with life. We still have the what if moment though. It's human nature.

Mine is the day that I was hit by a car on my way to school. Because of that moment, I have lifelong orthopedic issues. If I could make that go away, hell yeah I would

You guys are really persistent, I'll give you that.

I really should not have killed that guy and disposed of his body for being too nosy.  Wink

I don't regret my daughter, but if I had the chance to do it over, I would. Her life has been hell because of her mother's stupidity. I don't really want to go into everything that happened, but my reasons for saying that are well thought out and logical. What I will say is that her mother abandoned her, and hasn't talked to her in over 5 years, and hasn't seen her in 8 years. I haven't been stable enough to have her live with me, so she lives with my mom. That's just the tip of the iceberg of things that have gone wrong.

That's actually what I was going for.

Me; I'd have called out of work that night and spent it with my ex GF. She wouldn't have gone out with her friends - keeping her safe from that car accident.

Seen Marino in Miami or Staley in concert anywhere.  I was watching a cut of Man in the Box from Miami '91.  Kick ass.
