I think it's funny that someone uses the terminology "PG version of a lap dance". Welcome to the world of dance. Go to a prom and you will see worse than this.
Really? You still hang out at HS Proms? The difference & I'm not surprised here. This was a school lead function with a teacher. An adult thinking this choreographed dance was appropriate for HS girls. Not something one girl does on her own at a prom.. 180 degrees different. I have a daughter which I do not believe would embarrass herself like that in public, but if she did then she would not have made it through the dance without me escorting her off the court. Then I would be looking for people to lose their jobs.

When I read the original post, I expected to see a news story of a "hot female teacher" who got drunk at a dance and started dancing provocatively with students while taking her clothes off.
Maybe I expect too much...
We are like minded individuals.

I actually have had a job where I worked as event staff for a venue so in fact proms were part of my job responsibility. I just don't see a problem with this particular dance. Then you have very loose morals of what young girls should be taught about self respect & not simply being a sexual object of men. It would be different also had a teacher not overseen this performance.. I will say this is a public school teacher where their performance has no bearing on their job. You called it PG but were also offended by it. I found that funny given PG is generally considered nonoffensive. Dance is made to stimulate emotion. There was no sexual contact and I wouldn't even call the moves these girls did sexually stimulating either. It was a dance. If the guys had not been in the chair would you view it any differently?
I already thought it was a little to much before the guys were sitting in the chairs, the outfits were a tad on the tight & short side of things. The girls kneeling in front of the guys in a manner in which a sexual act can be performed was over the top. I called it a PG version because their was no sexual contact, but I could have said R rated. There is no doubt what is being implied.
