What do you gamers think of all getting the same game?

I have an idea.  For those of us who play games, why don't we pick an old game (that's cheap) and then play it together.

The last one I did was Forza 2/Marvel Ultimate Alliance.  I had fun with it, but never played it with any other TDMMCers, other than Guatarrican.

I think we should pick a new game.  Anyone have suggestions that would be interested in participating?

I was thinking Burnout Paradise for the 360.  It got very good reviews.  It is $20 new from Amazon.  (Probably less if you can find it used.)  It has come out with FREE downloadable content since launch.  It's also a game that is played with lots of players doing challenges together OR racing each other.

I think a racing game would be fun, but I prefer the kind like Need For Speed over Forza.  Dunno, just my preference.

Yeah, for a couple of reasons.  First, I'd like it to be a game where we're not just playing only playing against each other.  Halo and Gears have that, but only for 2 people.  Also, it'd be nice for all (or at least most) of us to be on a level playing field.  ...whereas, Halo 3 or Gears isn't fun, unless you've been playing long enough to be good.

Lastly, I think it would be a good way to go back and pick up some titles that fell under the radar for cheap.

But....it's not all on me.  We can play whatever.

I agree - I'm down for whatever, just asking.

In Gears, there's Horde, which allows up to 5 people to play co-operatively, and possibly some of the most fun I've had in online gaming, ever.  Halo3 has co-op campaign up to 4 people.  GTA4 has cops and robbers, and a ton of game modes, but not sure how easy it is to assemble your own party.

You're right.  I'll play either Gears 2 or Halo with anyone.  I forgot about Horde and 4P Co-Op.

I have Left 4 Dead.  ...and I'll play that with oneone, as well.

But right now, that's a 60 dollar game, so I wouldn't ask anyone to buy that who doesn't already have it.

Burnout is $20 brand new.

I'm also down for playing some Team Fortress 2.  I have it, but have never played it, really.  It's part of the Orange Box, that is also 20 new, and a great deal.

Sounds bad ass. I love Burnout, (have takedown for ps2) and if it's only $20, I can deal with that hit to the bank acct. I'll re-up my acct. with Live if we can get some multi goin on. Also have GTA4.

I'm game if something happens.

Burnout is awesome and they have a new update coming out. I don't know if it will have any new content but so far everything has been free to download.
