Resident Evil 5 Demo

I downloaded a demo for RE5 over the weekend from the XBOX marketplace.  Did anyone else get to snag this bad boy?

The game looks amazing.  It plays just like the previous RE's but the graphics are awesome.  I can't wait for this game to come out.

Downloaded it Sunday night after the game.  You're right, it looks freakin' incredible. I'm having a bit of trouble with the aiming (seems a bit stiff...and the aiming too), but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I downloaded it and played it.

I loved RE4, so I'll most likely enjoy this game.  It's getting a lot of crap from the gaming community, because it's not really evolving.  It's tense moments often come from a lack of control, and that game mechanic bothers some.

What I find hard about it is this -- in the old games, all of your stuff is managed in a pause menu.  So when the shit goes down, you stop, think, plan, and then resume.  Now that the game is co-op, there is no pause.  All of that stuff is managed in real-time.

Brian, have you played the demo in co-op yet?

Only with the computer controlled partner.  I haven't played it with a second player at all.
