Holy crap.  Shocked

Guess the Patsies are banking that Brady will come back strong from his injury. Shouldnt matter though. With Moss, Welker, and possibly Crabtree, I could be the QB of the Pats, bad knee and everything.

Will Cassel do well away from the Pats? We'll see.

Edit: AND the #3 overall draft pick??

Not surprised at all by the Cassel trade, but the Patsies with the #3 pick is very bad for everyone in the AFC East. Damn it.

When I saw that "and possibly Crabtree" comment above, I started to freak as well...wondering what news I'd missed. They definitely aren't getting Crabtree at #34. Wink

I'm telling ya, Pioli is going to turn KC around in short order. The guy is pretty damned bright when it comes to personnel.

He got rid of that idiot Herm Edwards who ruined the explosive Chiefs of the early 2000's....I'm sold.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Cassell is AJ Feeley.  In KC, he is going to be a very mediocre quarterback.  He looked good in NE because he was playing with Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

He is following the same path as Feeley.  He was traded for a second round pick.

What a heist by the Patriots

I don't see it as a heist by the Patsies. They got one second round pick for two of their top performing guys, Cassel and Vrabel.

If Cassel and Vrabel do good with the Chiefs, then its a heist by the Chiefs.  Grin
