D-Wade = Co-MVP w/ Kobe.

Monster season for #3, but he won't even finish in the top-3 for MVP voting.

Kobe
LeBron
Howard
Wade...

To put this into perspective, this did come against the Knicks, the worst 4th quarter team in the NBA. They do not drink coffee, for coffee is for closers.

America's team

He did a good job of getting yet another 'fashion statement' banned by the NBA. Band-aids.  Self-promoting band-aids at that.

And secondly, scoring 46 against the Knicks is not that big of a feat considering they have taken the 'no defense' approach that D'Antoni preaches.

The Knicks remind me of that scene in Semi-Pro when the guy played by Andre 3000 does an elaborate move to score. Then, he celebrates with his teammates while the other team just marches down the court for an easy layup behind their backs.

They are definitely more fun to watch this year, but there is no doubt the fast style of play has made them exhausted for the 4th quarter and thus, losing lots of games that should be winnable with better conditioning.

Two big reasons why Donnie Walsh should be given his walking papers:

1. Hiring D'Antoni as coach when defense is what this team really needs

2. Drafting that Italian clusterfuck small forward when center and point guard were clearly the positions of need and serious talent was available.

Being a Heat fan,  I hate how all the attention ig only going to Lebron & Kobe !   Wades game this year is SICK man,  My boy is dropping  30= games like a old man using Viagra.  Where is D-Wade's props.  Why is he not on the talk about MVP?

While I do not disagree with Wade's abilities and he is one the top 5 players in the game.....the Heat are hovering around .500 and they will not give the MVP to a player who's team is not that great.

Not really an inside joke as much as a widely noticed transition. When Coach D'Antoni (o) left Phoenix and went to NY, he brought hsi "4 seconds or less" run and gun philosophy with him. Until Phoenix axed Terry Porter a few weeks ago and ended the "slow it down" experiment, New York looked more like the Suns this season than Phoenix did.

I'd love to see Terry Porter or Patrick Ewing roaming courtside as the Knicks next coach.  Those guys know how to motivate guys to play defense.

Stroke, I'm not bashing the Suns, but the type of team that I like (and that wins titles) is more like the San Antonio Spurs.  Defense, defense, defense.

Jean Claude Van Damme:  Offense gets the glory.

Dennis Rodman: But defense wins the game.
