Normally, it takes several months before I really start to jones for it. It's come early this year. I think it's because the economy is crappy, so I'd enjoy relaxing with a beer on Sunday and watching the game.
I miss you, old friend.
I partially agree here. I miss it because the Dolphins made the playoffs for the first time in ages...... and I can't wait to see what Tuna has up his sleeve for next season.

the past week has been exciting for football. Watching players flying this way and that way, it is interesting to watch.
But its the offseason for a reason. Baseball is gearing up, and can be just as entertaining, if you can get into it.
Baseball is fun early in the season, and late in the season. In that midsummer lull when it's hot and sticky, it's not so much fun. No one wants to watch the Marlins and the Nationals play each other on a Wednesday night in July in front of 600 fans. That's why mid June to late July is the worst time of the sports year for me.
