Seriously...this guy has hopped right on the Michael Jackson train.

Along with a very bizarre piece that will be in this month's "Details" magazine, there are some equally weird pictures to go along with it.

"The night before his life changes forever, Alex Rodriguez calls from Miami with an urgent request. A-Rod is worried about something he said during our interview last night. I've been hearing mysterious warnings all afternoon: Alex needs to talk. Alex wants to clarify something. Can't say what. Alex will call you from his car." (continued)

The guy is placing his face up against the mirror and people are saying that "he's making out with his reflection...what a narcissist!" But you could easily say that particular shot represents "Alex facing his own personal demons"

People will always see the worst in someone, if the worst is really what they want to see. Yes, this might not have been the greatest shoot, given his current situation...but people are really blowing this out of proportion.

I don't know how much longer he can last in NY without finally snapping and just locking himself in a hotel room. He clearly is not a stable person. To think, he had the greatest "clutch" season of all-time in 2007 before the postseason started. You would've thought that was his breakthrough.

He clearly is not a stable person...

I would like to see what medical evidence that statement is based on...and are you sure you're qualified to "clearly" attest to anything involving A-Rod's mental state?

Just checking, because I hadn't heard anything about you taking the gig as Alex' personal therapist.

Bunch of freakin' hype-mongers...

I heard Peter Gammons say once that Alex Rodriguez thinks he's playing Alex Rodriguez in a movie about Alex Rodriguez

I love Peter Gammons, but he has a tattoo of the Red Sox logo on his left butt cheek...and not sure he's qualified to judge anyone's mental state either.

The quote came from someone else, but I can't remember who... let me google and see if I can find it

edit: I can't find it... If I go back to the Mike & Mike Podcasts, from right after the interview, i'm sure I can find out who had said it to begin with

I like how, in Maine's second photo, you can see the Photographer's fat foot.  Nice job, aren't you a professional?
