NBA season and get right to the conference finals. The macthup will be Spurs vs lakers in the west and the cavs vs the celtics in the east. Know that the celtics have added Rasheed Wallace were in a great position.

Please, Orlando fans don't tell me about the magic when they've lost Hedo, Alston, Lee,  and possibly Gortat. The NBA is a 4 team league going into next season as far  as im concerned.

Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, Rasheed Wallace and Kevin Garnett.

Now that's fucking scary.

If all else fails, spend more money.

Celtics = Yankees?

No, there's a cap in basketball.  It's not a hard cap like football, but it's not "do whatever you want" like baseball.

Yes and no. It isn't a hard cap, you can Larry Bird rule it, but there is a cap

Sure.  That's why they took Orlando to seven games...in the Eastern finals without KG.  Oh...and won a little thing called the title the year before with him.

Good logic.

GC mentioned 4 teams in the conference finals boston, san antonio, cleveland, LA

he didn't mention orlando

out of that group of 4, i think boston is the weak link

2011 NFC East Champions!

I think Cleveland is the weak link

LA Coach - Phil Jackson (10 titles)
SA Coach - Poppovich (4 titles)
BOS Coach - Doc (1 title)
CLE Coach - Hack Brown (nothing)

The Celtics are good - but they have gotten old, fast. Pierce, Garnett, Allen, and Wallace are all in the later stages of their careers...in fact they are a lot like San Antonio. The Lakers are still the #1 team, and they would beat Boston if they meet in 2010 NBA Finals.

I think Denver should replace San Antonio, though, because they are younger and fresher - San Antonio just can't keep up. I feel that Boston will start to suffer a similar fate as age catches up to them. Cleveland will have all LeBron lovers everywhere start to proclaim him as the next Jesus Christ, but in the end when the dust settles, Boston or Orlando can easily take them.

(I want everyone to read what Maine said about Orlando being taken to the limit by a KG-less Boston last season - this is the difference between winning teams and hacks like Cleveland - a KG-less, old broken-down team took Orlando to the absolute wire...immediately thereafter, everyone's lock pick Cleveland got basically swept out of the playoffs (They were down 1-3, and the only reason they had that 1 in the first place was a :01 miracle fade-away 3-point shot).

And he is not getting any younger. Old teams while poised and experienced, do have a tendancy to break.
So lets play all 82 and see how many more miles the old Celtics have left in their legs before we just go ahead and hand them the title.

My Suns have a legitimate shot at a championship, as long as they can transfer into one of the Euro-leagues...and not one of the really good ones. Phoenix could win the Luxembourg Basketball Association title, I am very confident in this.

You are not getting the sheed from 4 yrs ago you are getting an over the hill loudmouth who barely avg 6 pts  in the playoffs - I dont think the C's are a lock

bet on the lakers, they just got stronger on defense & rebounding their only weakness - they gave up ariza but artest is the same player with better rebounding skills

If the C's are healthy they are one of the two best teams in the east with Cleveland.
